The South Carolina Highway Patrol is currently looking to locate the driver of a 2014 Chrysler 200 that is burgundy in color. The driver of this vehicle was involved in a fatal vehicle versus pedestrian crash that occurred near the intersection of Read Street and Remount Road. The driver struck the pedestrian, who was crossing Read Street from the sidewalk along Remount Road, while on the evening of February 11th, 2018 at approximately 8PM. Shortly after the collision the vehicle was reported stolen.
