JAMES ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - A grandmother was found stabbed to death in a James Island home Wednesday, according to Charleston County deputies.
The woman's 10-year-old grandchild is being treated at a local hospital, deputies say. The incident occurred in the 300 block of Howle Avenue.
Few details have been released, but the investigation is ongoing, according to Charleston Sheriff's Maj. Eric Watson.
Authorities were spotted in the area blocking a portion of the scene off.
