NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police officials say they are investigating a shooting in North Charleston Monday evening.
According to North Charleston police, the incident was in the area of East Montague Avenue and Morningside Drive.
A police report states at 5:36 p.m., officers responded to the area of 1912 E. Montague Ave. in reference to a shooting.
When officers arrived they found a 21-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to MUSC for treatment.
Investigators say at this point in the investigation, there is no information on suspects, and several potential witnesses are being interviewed by police.
