GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCBD) - A house on Aldene Avenue, in Goose Creek, was damaged by a Wednesday evening fire and officials are working to determine if that fire was caused by a meth lab.
"The house is pretty well-damaged. I call it extensive damage to the residence right now," Berkeley County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Dan Moon said.
21-year-old Justin Wright was taken into police custody on an outstanding warrant for manufacturing meth in an earlier incident.
Detectives are also searching for another unidentified person who was seen fleeing the fire scene.
"We have a female subject that was also seen leaving the scene with him. That subject is unknown right now. We are attempting to identify and locate that individual," Moon said.
