NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Investigators have charged a downtown man in connection with the shooting death of a 25-year-old man at a North Charleston apartment.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office charged Franklin Williams with obstruction of justice in connection with the death of Dominique Ladson. Williams was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
On Nov. 20, deputies responded to an apartment on Tedder Street for a report of shots fired. When the deputies arrived a witness told them two armed black males wearing masks entered the home and shot Ladson.
Authorities say the two suspects the fled the scene. Ladson was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
