CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston police say a man wanted on charges of criminal domestic violence has turned himself in to authorities Saturday morning.
Police say 27-year-old Vonzell Lavar Jones turned himself in to authorities after seeing his story run on Live 5 News most wanted Thursday night.
Investigators say Jones attacked the mother of his children right in front of the kids on June 13 this year.
Police say Jones kicked in a bedroom door at the victim's West Ashley apartment, and punched her in the face and body with a closed fist. Cops say the victim defended herself with a small bedside fan.
Jones is being held at the Charleston County Detention Center.
