NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - A downtown woman is accused of shooting at a man during an argument in North Charleston.
The North Charleston Police Department arrested 21-year-old Destiny Deas on Tuesday and charged her with attempted murder.
Deas' arrest stems from an incident last Thursday night when officers responded to an address on Eva Street in reference to a vehicle being struck by vehicles.
The 22-year-old victim said he was in a car at the intersection of the Forest Hills II subdivision and Dorchester Road when a Nissan Sentra with tinted windows pulled up along side him.
The victim said when the Nissan's windows rolled down, he saw Deas, who he had an argument with a week ago. Police say as the two got into another verbal argument, Deas pulled out a gun and shot at the victim three times.
One bullet went through the victim's driver's side window, and two of the bullets struck the driver's side door.
Both of the vehicles then left the area.
