WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are on the lookout for a 34-year-old woman accused of an attempted armed robbery at a Subway in West Ashley.
The Charleston Police Department is looking for Trainy Michelle Fishburne of North Charleston.
On the night of June 28, the victim said a man came in to the restaurant and asked for a cup of water.
According to police, the man then asked if the victim if he had a lot of customers, whether or not anyone else was working with him and other questions which made the victim feel uncomfortable.
The victim said when the man walked to the back entrance of the store, the store's phone rang three separate times. The victim told police that another suspect came out of the bathroom, went to the victim, pointed a gun at him and demanded money.
A police report states that the victim ran out of the restaurant and yelled for someone to call 911 since he was being robbed.
Investigators say the victim attempted to go back inside to get the business phone, but the suspect was still there and kept demanding money.
Police say while the victim was outside, he saw the suspect run through the employee only entrance and made their way to the cash register and attempt to open it, but was unsuccessful.
The suspect then ran out of the back entrance.
