Deputies: Man robbed same gas station twice

SUMMERVILLE, SC (WCSC) - Dorchester County Sheriff's Office deputies say they have arrested the man who recently robbed the same Kangaroo Service Station.

Thorne Randall Scott Thomason, 22, was arrested Sunday, May 20 and charged with two counts of robbery. Deputies say he robbed the Kangaroo located at 1597 Central Avenue on April 6 and May 19.

According to a report, deputies identified Thomason when they were called to his house after he got into an argument with his mother. The responding deputies said they recognized him from gas station surveillance photos.

Thomason later admitted to the crimes, said deputies.
