NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police are investigating after shots were reportedly fired into a North Charleston apartment early Tuesday morning.
North Charleston Police Department officers say they responded to an apartment at 4995 Lambs Road just after midnight to find a front bedroom window damaged by a gunshot.
Police said the renter told them he and several others were inside when they heard the shots and noticed the shattered window.
The victims were unable to provide any suspect description, police said. No injuries were reported.
Police said they did find a small amount of marijuana inside a bedroom, and 20-year-old Cleveland Bellinger was charged with possession of marijuana.
The incident remains under investigation.
