MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are searching for a Mount Pleasant man whose boat was found floating upside down on Tuesday.
The Mount Pleasant Police Department is looking for 36-year-old Ronald Clifford Fowler Jr.
According to police, Fowler was last seen by his girlfriend on Monday around 11:45 a.m. The girlfriend told police that Fowler did not return to the home that evening.
Authorities say Fowler was last expected to be heading towards Shem Creek.
A police report states that the Coast Guard found Fowler's 16-foot skiff floating upside down 16 miles from the shore on Tuesday.
Police are continuing the investigation.
