NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC)- A man was robbed early Tuesday morning while walking on Otranto Road in North Charleston.
North Charleston police officers were called out to 2388 Otranto Road around 3 a.m. in reference to an armed robbery.
The victim told police that he had walked to the Lil Cricket at to purchase some items when he was approached by two men who got out of a gold Nissan Altima.
One of the suspects asked the victim for a cigarette, but the victim told him he didn't have any. The suspect then demanded the victim's wallet and iPhone. According to the victim, the suspect showed him that he had a gun, but never pointed the gun at him.
The victim gave the suspect his wallet and phone. Both suspects left in the vehicle that was being driven by a third male suspect. The vehicle was last seen traveling on Otranto Road towards Rivers Avenue.
