CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police are looking for 23 year old Jacob George Tubbs.
Tubbs is wanted on charges of burglary second degree in connection with the theft of thousands of dollars worth of gold jewelry and cash from a kiosk at Citadel Mall in October, 2011.
"Once the business was closed and the cleaning crew had left they went into some different areas of the business and stole a safe," said Charleston Police Cpl. Fred Bowie.
Police say Tubbs and two other men hid in a room at the mall and then made their move.
"Well planned," Bowie said. "They went in through service entrances. They carried the necessary tools with them."
Investigators say the crime was caught on surveillance cameras and they arrested two of the suspects. They're still looking for Tubbs.
Tubbs also is wanted on a charge of criminal domestic violence. He's accused of pushing and slapping his girlfriend.
Cops say he should be considered dangerous.
"To invade a business, pretty brazen, he certainly won't be reluctant to become violent," Bowie warned.
Tubbs stands 5'9" and weighs about 162 lbs.
His last known address was on King Charles Court in Charleston.
