NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police officers released a surveillance photo Friday morning of a man they believe robbed a Subway restaurant on University Boulevard on Thursday night.
Officers responded to the Subway restaurant just before 9 p.m. in reference to an armed robbery. Store employees and customers who were in the business at the time of the robbery, gave police an account of what happened.
Witnesses say the suspect entered the business with his shirt pulled up over the bottom of his face. The suspect then lifted his shirt and showed a gun in his waist band and approached the counter. The suspect told the employee at the counter to give him all the money. The suspect then grabbed the money and walked out the door.
