CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says they are looking for two people who robbed the First Citizen's Bank on Highway 162 in Hollywood on Monday.
Around 12:37 p.m., deputies responded to 6213 Hwy 162 for an armed robbery. According to bank employees, two men entered the bank, said they had guns and demanded money.
Investigators say no weapons were shown. After jumping the counter, the suspects left the location with money and were last seen leaving the bank on foot.
Authorities describe the suspects as 6-foot, one wearing jeans and a black hooded sweater and the other wearing a white skull cap.
Investigators say they are looking for a dark blue older model Ford Explorer with dark tinted windows and running boards that was parked near the bank location before the robbery. The sheriff's office says it is not known at this time if the vehicle played a part in the incident.
The sheriff's office is continuing the investigation.
