NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Two juveniles were arrested late Wednesday night after an armed robbery was reported in the parking lot of the Aloft Hotel in North Charleston.
North Charleston Police Department spokesman Spencer Pryor said that officers responded to the hotel on Tanger Outlet Boulevard around 12 a.m. The victims told police that two young suspects walked up to his car, brandished a handgun and demanded money.
The juveniles, aged 13 and 15, took cash from the man and ran towards a wooded area. They were picked up by police a short time later in the same area.
Both juveniles are charged with armed robbery. They are in the custody of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
