Sumter, SC (WLTX) - Sumter police are gathering details after an early Tuesday morning shooting at an apartment complex.
Not much information has been released by officers, but they say shortly after 1:30 a.m., they responded to a call of shots fired at the James Village Apartments off of North Main Street.
While no one was injured in the shooting, several vehicles and a building showed signs of damage from gunfire. Authorities are working to determine how and why the shooting occurred.
