LINCOLNVILLE, SC (WCSC) – The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is responding to a shooting that happened in Lincolnville Thursday evening.

According to deputies the shooting occurred at around 8p.m. on Bell Drive. When deputies arrived on scene they found a male victim with a single gunshot wound to the stomach.

The victim was transported to the Medical University of South Carolina with life threatening injuries.

Investigators are looking for a silver color Volkswagen Beetle that was seen leaving the area directly after the shooting.
