NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Two men robbed the Regions Bank at 2210 Ashley Phosphate Road at about 11:15 this morning, according to North Charleston police.
Spencer Pryor, North Charleston Police Public Information Officer, said at least one of the men had a gun. According to reports, one suspect showed the gun while the other man jumped over the counter and took and undetermined amount of cash. Both men ran from the scene.
The first suspect is described as a heavy-set black male wearing a black t-shirt. The second suspect is described as a thin black male with a muscular build wearing a white t-shirt. Pryor said each men wore two red bandanas which covered both their heads and mouths.
Police do not believe Wednesday's robbery is related to recent robberies in either North Charleston or West Ashley.
