Searching For Stolen Trailer, Unsuspecting Purchaser May Have it Locally and Not Know It

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is looking to locate and recover the following trailer, a 2017 KAUFMAN 14 foot Dump Trailer, black in color
with two axels. The Dump Trailer was stolen on 6-22-17 from a private residence that is under
construction in Awendaw, SC. It is believed that the stolen trailer is still in the Mt Pleasant,
Sullivan’s Island, Awendaw or McClellanville area. It is also possible that it was sold to an
unsuspecting buyer who is unaware of its stolen ...status. If located, the serial number is stamped
into the frame rail on either side and on the tongue hitch itself. It was purchased less than a year
and when it was stolen it look like new.
