The Goose Creek Police are investigating two different armed robberies they say were committed by the same suspects.
According to GCPD officials, the first one happened at the Sunoco gas station on Red Bank Road around 10:30 Thursday night.
Polcie said the suspects came up to the victims' car armed with a pistol and stole their cell phones, pistol whipping one of the victims.
Then police said the suspects mugged a victim near the Auto Zone on St. James Avenue around 1 a.m. Friday. The robbers got away with the victim's cell phone and reportedly fired a shot in the victim's direction.
No one was injured in any of the attacks.
While on patrol, a GCPD officer arrested an 18-year-old identified as Dayon White. Then a K9 unit tracked the second suspect, 17-year-old Tristan McGill to the woods but he wasn't found despite help from Berkeley and Charleston County Sheriff's air support.
The Goose Creek Police Department is requesting that anyone with information about this case or the location of Tristan McGill please contact Investigator Dodson at 843-863-5200 Ext. 2337, Crime Stoppers at (843) 554-1111 or the GCPD Tip line at (843) 863-5210.
