WEST ASHLEY SC (WCSC) - Charleston Police are searching for a person of interest involved in the shooting at Chuck E. Cheese's in West Ashley Saturday night.
Charleston Police and the Charleston County Sheriff's Office respond to the scene of a shooting inside a West Ashley Chuck E. Cheese's around 8:30 p.m.
Police say the individual pictured had a verbal argument with the victims while inside the business.
Authorities say the man left after he was asked to leave by management. Police say a short time later, the individual returned, hopped over the counter inside the business and confronted the victims again.
Police say at that time, two shots were fired inside the business.
"The person who did this committed a reckless act in the crowded business with no regard for the well-being and/or safety of the many patrons inside, to include many young children," police spokesman Charles Francis said.
Officials say two male victims were taken to MUSC to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to search for the suspect.
