WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - A mother of three wants answers after her young children watched two men get shot inside Chuck E Cheese's in West Ashley.

Dominique Gathers returned to Chuck E. Cheese's just two days after the shooting to find her daughter's shoes. They were left behind as the shots broke out.

The North Charleston mother said her children, ages 1, 9 and 11, were there with their aunt when the shooting happened Saturday night.

"My kids went to a birthday party," said Gathers.

Gathers said her family is traumatized.

"I'm stressed out," said Gathers. "It's got my kids...they can't even sleep at night. They wake up in the middle of the night telling me someone's dead on the floor."

Gathers said she's horrified by the violence that Charleston police have called "reckless." Gathers said she's struggling to explain what happened to her young children.

With her youngest child on her hip, Gathers said the lost shoes were the least of her worries.

"I'm glad the kids were alright," said Gathers. "I hope they find the guy who did it and give him the proper help that he needs because he needs help."

Police say the shooting stemmed from an argument.

The two men shot have been identified as 21-year-old Devante Jenkins and 20-year-old Marquis Grampus. They were both taken to MUSC and are expected to be okay.

They're still trying to find one person of interest, a man witnesses say jumped on the counter and was arguing with people inside Chuck E. Cheese's just before shots rang out.
