NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - North Charleston police say one suspect has been arrested and another is sought after a gas station armed robbery led to a slew of other crimes early Monday morning.
Officials responded to reports of an armed robbery at the Circle K on West Montague Avenue in North Charleston Sunday around 11:30 p.m., according to Charleston County dispatchers.
Police department spokesperson Spencer Pryor says after the robbery, the suspects came across a person at a nearby ATM. The suspects ordered the victim from the vehicle and stole the car, before crashing it into a residence on Westview Street.
Officials say the suspects fled on fought. One of the two suspects was later arrested.
The incident is under investigation.
