WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - A man accused of exposing himself to two young girls at a West Ashley store Monday evening has been arrested.
Charleston police say 37-year-old Shon Hilton was arrested Thursday and charged with two counts of assault and battery third degree.
Police say that incident occurred at the West Ashley Walmart store around 7 p.m.
According to police, Hilton followed two young girls throughout Walmart in West Ashley around 7 p.m. Authorities say the man eventually walked back and forth by one of the toy aisles where he spotted the girls and exposed himself to them.
After the incident he left the store from the garden section and left the area in a white pickup truck, authorities say.
Authorities were able to track down Hilton by using surveillance footage of the suspect.
