BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Deputies in Berkeley County say they are searching for an Upstate woman they believe may have been the victim of foul play in or near Berkeley County, and say her boyfriend is a person of interest in the investigation.
Nicole Goodlett, 28, was reported missing by family members on March 12, according to Berkeley Sheriff's spokesman Dan Moon.
Deputies also say Jerald Howard, Goodlett's boyfriend, is a person of interest in the missing person case, and that the two were living together at the time of Goodlett's disappearance. Authorities say she was last seen in February and that she was reported missing by her parents after they came to the area to look for her.
Moon says investigators have conducted numerous searches in Berkeley County for any sign of Goodlett.
Goodlett is the mother of a five-year-old son and nine-month-old twins, deputies say. Investigators say the twins are in DSS custody and the five-year-old is with Goodlett's parents.
Goodlett's family has put up a reward of $2,000 for any and all information that would provide leads in the case, Moon said.
Goodlett is a black female who stands 5'10" tall and weighs 130 pounds. She has a rose bush tattoo on the outside of her lower right leg with the names James, Bozena, Daniel, Nicole and Jessica. The word Capricorn is tattooed on her right wrist, three Chinese symbols are tattooed below her navel and she has a digital QR code tattoo on her left ankle.
Deputies say she goes by the nicknames Alazay or Zay.
