DORCHESTER COUNTY, SC (WCBD) - A second grader brought a pocket knife to Dorchester District 2 school Monday.
According to officials, the child brought the knife to Spann Elementary and showed it to a student.
A teacher noticed the knife and immediately reported it to an administrator, according to a spokesperson for the district.
Officials said it appeared the student did not mean to harm anyone.
The District tells News 2 they have taken appropriate measures, but specific information regarding those measures aren't immediately available.
