MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (WCBD) - Saturday afternoon the U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested wanted fugitive Calvin Vanderhorst in Charlotte, NC.
Vanderhorst was wanted for an armed robbery at 1633 Babington Way in Mount Pleasant on January 21, 2014.
Saturday afternoon February 1 Mount Pleasant Police received information that Vanderhorst, was possibly in Charlotte North Carolina. In a coordinated effort with the Charleston U.S. Marshals Task Force and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department; Calvin Vanderhorst was located and taken into custody without incident.
Vanderhorst was out on bond during the January 21 robbery for another armed robbery which occurred on June 6, 2013 at the Bank of America ATM, located at 1929 Hwy 17 North.
