NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Sunday January 5 at approximately 2 a.m., deputies from the Charleston County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the Sunoco Gas Station located at 2019 Maybank Hwy in Charleston to investigate a business alarm activation.
When officers arrived they noticed that a front window left of the entrance door was broken out. After further observation, the deputies noticed that a case of lottery tickets were missing from the counter area. According to the store's manager, 24 booklets of lottery tickets totaling $6,000.00 were taken from the business.
The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has not been able to identify any suspect(s) at this time.
