GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say they are searching for a 10-year-old Boulder Bluff Elementary student who went missing from the school Wednesday morning.

Goose Creek police say Zoey Reynolds was reported missing from Boulder Bluff Elementary School at approximately 9:11 a.m. Surveillance video shows the student left campus alone on foot.

The student is a white female with shoulder length brown hair. She is wearing a purple leopard print hoodie and jeans.

According to a statement from the Berkeley County School District, the student left class voluntarily and then left the school grounds. The child's parents and authorities were notified immediately.

District officials are at Boulder Bluff Elementary as a full investigation and search is underway, the statement reads.

Police say several agencies are assisting in the search, and the Charleston County Sheriff's Office helicopter is in the area to help locate the student. Berkeley County Sheriff's Office bloodhounds are being used to track her route as well.

A reverse 911 service called "A Child Is Missing" has sent out an alert to phones within a three mile radius of the school.

Boulder Bluff Elementary School is located at 400 Judy Drive in Goose Creek.
