NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department was called to the pharmacy at K-Mart on River Avenue in reference to an armed robbery Friday afternoon.
According to police a man approached the pharmacy counter with a note demanding oxycodone. Officials say the suspect indicated that he was armed; however no weapon was seen.
Police say after the suspect was provided with several bottles of pills and he fled the store and got into a turquoise colored car with two other men. The suspect was last seen headed towards Goose Creek after they left the park lot.
The victim told police that the suspect is a light-skinned male who was wearing blue jeans, a blue jean jacket with a green and white striped hooded sweatshirt underneath. The victim also said the suspect is approximately 5'8 to 5'10 in height with slender build and seem to be in their mid 20's.
