CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities say one of the two men injured in a double-shooting at a Hollywood club early Thursday morning has been arrested on a prior charge.
According to an incident report, 26-year-old Kenneth Anderson was arrested on a warrant by the Charleston Police Department for third degree assault and battery.
Deputies say Anderson, along with the owner of Ham Grant's Club, were injured after shots were fired following a fight at the club on Thursday around 12:45 a.m.
The report states a fight broke out between Anderson and a man identified as Devonn. When the club owner tried to separate the two, Devonn fired a single round from a handgun and fled the scene.
The club owner suffered a gunshot wound to the arm, and Anderson was shot in the abdomen, deputies say.
Anderson was on trespass notice and was not supposed to be at the club, according to the club owner.
Charleston police were sent to MUSC to take Anderson into custody.
The shooting is still under investigation, as deputies are working to identify the suspect.
