CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - A Live 5 Most Wanted fugitive was captured after investigators say they found the 24-year-old man hiding in a dorm at the South Carolina State University.

U.S. Marshals arrested Ernell Simpson who is wanted for failure to appear in court on charges of armed robbery and intimidation. Authorities say a tip led to Simpson's arrest.

Investigators say Simpson held up the Publix supermarket on Sam Rittenberg Boulevard in January, 2012.

Deputies say Simpson also threatened an ex-girlfriend in August, 2012 and continues to do so.

According to an incident report, Simpson told her he would, "beat the truth out of her."

Simpson stands 6'2" and weighs about 165 pounds.
