CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office has arrested one person and is looking for another after authorities discovered a meth lab in Lincolnville Monday afternoon.

Investigators have charged 21-year-old Cody Jack Pace of Summerville with manufacturing of methamphetamine and disposal of waste from methamphetamine production. The sheriff's office is looking for 29-year-old David N. Freeman of Lincolnville wanted on the same charges.

According to police, at 2 p.m. on Monday, a search warrant was obtained for a residence on Fiddie Street for reported drug activity. The sheriff's office says information was received that there was possibly a meth lab being operated within a home, and upon corroborating the information, a search warrant was obtained.

Investigators say once inside the home, evidence consistent with the operation of a small meth lab was found. Pace was arrested at the home during the investigation.
