CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office says Metro Narcotics investigators may have uncovered a small meth lab in Lincolnville Monday afternoon.
According to police, at approximately 2 p.m., a search warrant was obtained for a residence on Fiddie Street for reported drug activity.
The sheriff's office says information was received that there was possibly a meth lab being operated within a home, and upon corroborating the information, a search warrant was obtained.
Investigators say once inside the home, evidence consistent with the operation of a small meth lab was found. The police report says a meth operation did not appear to be active at the time but evidence pointed to its existence.
The sheriff's office is currently working to identify individuals involved in the operation.
