GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC)- Georgetown County deputies are searching for two suspects who were seen armed with guns walking towards a home, and later running from officials Monday morning.
Deputies say they were called out to a home on Lanes Creek Drive around 9:30 a.m. Monday after two suspects were seen carrying what appeared to be a handgun and a long gun.
When the suspects were approached by the victim, they ran off and got into a burgundy Nissan Altima, a report states.
Deputies say they later attempted to stop a vehicle matching the description given by the victims around Johnson Road, but the Altima would not stop. The vehicle got away after an officer lost control of his patrol car and crashed into a ditch.
The two suspects are described as young black males, around 5'11, and skinny. They were wearing white t-shirts and blue jeans or dark pants. One suspect had an orange rag on his head, and the other had a black rag on his head.
If you have any information on these suspects, call Georgetown County Sheriff's Office at 843-546-5101.
