GEORGETOWN, SC - Deputies are looking for a suspect that fled from authorities Thursday night near Georgetown County.
The Georgetown County Sheriff's office say deputies clocked a 2003 Ford Expedition traveling at 95 miles-per-hour on Highway 17 in the southern part of Georgetown County.
A spokeswoman for the sheriff's office says deputies attempted to pull the vehicle over, but the suspect failed to stop. The vehicle pursuit continued on Highway 17 into Charleston County for several miles before the suspect made a u-turn and pulled over, according to the Sheriff's office.
Authorities say the suspect got out of the vehicle and ran into the woods.
Both Georgetown and Charleston County deputies searched for the suspect in the area, but were unable to locate him.
