U-Haul sets up donation site after family's truck stolen from hotel parking lot

NORTH CHARLESTON (WCSC) - Tinisha and Edward White's 26-foot U-Haul was stolen last Wednesday night from the parking lot of the La Quinta Inn on Ashley Phosphate Road. They say on Wednesday they came back after dinner around 8:30, parked the truck with the back against this wall and secured it with a heavy duty lock.

The story originally aired in our 11 p.m. broadcast on Friday. In less than 24 hours, many have expressed their willingness to help.

A donation site has been set-up at the U-Haul at 8222 Dorchester Road. Drop-off is from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
