GEORGETOWN COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are looking for a missing 49-year-old Georgetown County man.
The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office is looking for William Taylor of the Pleasant Hill community. He was last seen on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of the County Line Road and Choppee Road.
Taylor is described as a black male, 5'6" and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, and a black and blue jacket, black hat and blue and white tennis shoes.
The sheriff's office had reported earlier on Tuesday that Taylor had Alzheimer's disease. The Georgetown County Sheriff's Office then released a revised press release Tuesday night stating that Taylor has medical issues, but does not have Alzheimer's.
Authorities say there is no information to believe that Taylor is an immediate threat or danger to himself or others.
Authorities are asking anyone with information on Taylor's whereabouts to call the sheriff's office at (843) 546-5101.
