BERKELEY COUNTY, SC (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff's Office is investigating a shooting early Tuesday morning.
Public information officer, Dan Moon, says it started as a fight at a night club on NAD Rd., and escalated to a shooting.
One person was taken to the hospital.
The sheriff's office has not released information about the extent of the victim's injuries or a description of possible suspects.
NAD Rd. from Rivers Ave. to Snake River Rd. was shut down for about an hour and a half this morning while deputies set up crime tape and searched the scene for evidence.
The road re-opened a little after 6 a.m.
