WEST ASHLEY, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston Police Department has arrested two people and are looking for two other men wanted in connection to an armed robbery that happened earlier in West Ashley.

Authorities charged 17-year-old D'Angelo Walker and 19-year-old Paul Levard Green with armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime. Walker was also charged with possession of a handgun by someone under the age of 18, kidnapping and first-degree burglary.

Police say the armed robbery happened around 2 p.m. on Staffordshire Drive when four male suspects in a Trailblazer robbed two people outside a home. Authorities say three of the suspects then took both victims inside of the house and stole more money.

According to police, all four of the suspects then left the scene in the SUV. The victims called police and provided them with descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle. Officers then spotted the vehicle near Hagood and Line and initiated a traffic stop. Officers say that all of the suspects then bailed out of the vehicle.

Police and SWAT responded to the Gadsden Green area Friday afternoon and located two of the suspects. Green was located near President Street and the Crosstown, Walker was located under a house on Allway Street.

Walker is being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center. Green, who is on probation on a strong armed robbery charge, is being held in the Al Cannon Detention Center.

Investigators say they also recovered three handguns during their search. Authorities had shut down several streets during their search for the two other suspects, who they were not able to locate.

If you have any information you are asked to call police or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.

Police say a third man was also arrested on outstanding warrants during the search for the armed robbery suspects. Police charged 36-year-old Torris Simmons with third-degree assault and battery and receiving stolen goods. Officers say Simmons was arrested under a house on Allway Street.
