NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Authorities are on the lookout for a man who shoved a woman into a trunk during a robbery at an ATM in North Charleston.
At 9:40 p.m. on Sunday, the North Charleston Police Department responded to the Carrabbas on Northwoods Boulevard where the victim had walked into the restaurant and said she had just been robbed across the street at the Wells Fargo ATM.
The victim said the suspect walked up behind her while she was at the trunk of her car and shoved her in.
Police say the suspect then grabbed the victim's maternity bag which contained bank deposit bags. When the victim got out of the trunk the suspect was already gone.
The victim described the suspect as a white male having facial hair around his mouth, wearing a black shirt, black pants and a blue ball cap.
