NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Investigators are looking for an armed robbery suspect who stole drugs from a pharmacy in North Charleston early Tuesday morning.
Shortly before 5 a.m., the North Charleston Police Department responded to the CVS Pharmacy at 5215 Ashley Phosphate Road in reference to an armed robbery.
Store employees said a man carrying a gun told the employees to lead him back to the pharmacy. The suspect then ordered the pharmacist to give him Oxycontin. A police report states that several bottles of drugs were then placed in a CVS plastic bag.

Police describe the suspect as a white male, 6-foot, 140 pounds, wearing dark long pants, dark long sleeve shirt, black boots, a dark ball cap, wearing what appeared to be shoe polish on his face and dark brown gloves.
The same store was hit by a person wearing what looked like shoe polish on his face back on July 17th. Police found that suspect at a nearby house after they say he had an overdose. Authorities are continuing the investigation.
