GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Goose Creek police are looking for a 29-year-old woman reported missing by her mother in mid-August. An incident report states the mother fears her daughter may be with a Live 5 News Most Wanted suspect.

Police say Shannon Caruso, of Goose Creek, was last seen leaving her Dogwood Circle home at noon on August 17. Caruso's mother told investigators her daughter was in a relationship with 31-year-old Kenon Stevens, reported as a Most Wanted suspect on Live 5 News last Thursday.

Goose Creek police say investigators recently received information suggesting Caruso attempted to contact her father and left him a message on his cell phone. Investigators believe the call originated from a number in North Carolina. Investigators are currently working to verify this information, and Captain John Grainger said foul play is not suspected at this time.

According to Summerville Police Department officers, Stevens was wanted on charges of kidnapping and criminal domestic violence after they say he punched, kicked and choked Caruso between August 4 and August 6. Police also said Stevens threatened to kill her and held a knife to her stomach.

Caruso is described as a white female with blond hair and hazel eyes. She stands approximately 5' and weighs approximately 130 pounds. Caruso's mother told police that while she did not have a car, Kenon Stevens drives a gold Honda.

Stevens stands 5'6" and weighs about 145 pounds.

If you have any information regarding the whereabouts of Shannon Caruso or Kenon Stevens, call Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
