NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - Police say they have arrested a man after one person was sent to the hospital following a stabbing in the parking lot of the Owners Box in North Charleston.
North Charleston Police Department officers responded to a fight in the parking lot of the club on Rivers Avenue just after midnight, according to spokesman Spencer Pryor.
Pryor said they found a victim who was cut with a box cutter. A short time later, Pryor said officers arrested 22-year-old Salahodeen Farooq-Alhaqq in connection with the crime.
Farooq-Alhaqq was taken to the Charleston County Detention Center. He is charged with attempted murder and second-degree assault.
The victim was taken to MUSC and was listed in serious condition on Sunday.
