NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department has identified the man they say took a number of Oxycontin pills during an armed robbery at a North Charleston Walgreens last weekend.
Police say at around 7:30 p.m. last Saturday at the Walgreens on Dorchester Road, 46-year-old Joseph Bussman walked up to the pharmacist and handed them a note demanding painkillers. The suspect also showed a handgun that was in his waistband, police say
According to authorities the pharmacist gave Bussman the pills and the suspect then walked out of the front door.
