CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The Charleston bomb squad unit found nothing suspicious after investigating an area inside a parking garage at MUSC early Thursday.
Charleston Police Department officials say someone saw something suspicious in a car early Thursday morning and reported it to MUSC Public Safety, who then called in additional law enforcement.
Employees at MUSC said the investigation went on for about two hours around the Ashley River Tower.
The area around the garage was blocked off while detectives continued their investigation.
People were allowed to enter and exit the hospital, just not through doors leading to the garage.
MUSC Public Safety is now handling the investigation.
