JOHNS ISLAND, SC (WCSC) - Police are on the lookout for a 27-year-old Summerville man suspected of breaking into a Johns Island home and stealing a rifle.
The Charleston Police Department is looking for Mikell Todd Nelson wanted for second-degree burglary and grand larceny.
Investigators say the incident happened at a home on August Road on Sept. 14, 2011 between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. when someone kicked in the back door of the residence.
Police say the suspect stole a rifle, electronic equipment and a purse.
Anyone with information is asked to call Charleston police at 577-7434 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
