GOOSE CREEK, SC (WCSC) - Police are on the lookout for a teenager and man who strangled a woman and robbed her at a Goose Creek neighborhood.

The Goose Creek Police Department is looking for 20-year-old William Maurice White and 16-year-old Desmond Lamont Miller wanted for armed robbery and assault.

Officers responded to the are of Vixen Boulevard on March 31 in reference to a disturbance in the area. When an officer was driving in the area, the victim flagged him down and said she had just been robbed and attacked by two people who were acquaintances of hers.

The 20-year-old victim said she and her friend came to the Foxborough neighborhood on Vixen Boulevard to visit a friend. The woman said that as both women were walking down the street, a white vehicle pulled in front of a home with both suspects in it.

A police report states that at one point, as the suspects were speaking to both women, both suspects left the vehicle and began assaulting the 20-year-old victim.

The victim said Miller punched her in the face knocking her to the ground.

According to investigators, as the victim held tightly to her purse, White pulled out a small silver handgun and said," Give it up or I will shoot you!"

The victim then began yelling for help, at which time police say Miller started strangling her. The victim said after losing her grip on the purse, the suspects took it and fled the area.

Police say Miller and White are considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached. If you have any information you are asked to call 911 or the Goose Creek Police Department at 863-5200.
