NORTH CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) - The North Charleston Police Department says man was robbed while taking out the trash Saturday evening near Attaway Street in North Charleston.
Officers were called out to the scene after two men approached the victim from behind while taking out the trash. According to police the suspects went through the victim's pants pockets taking an undetermined amount of cash.
Authorities say when neighbors came outside to help the victim and the suspects ran away. One suspect fired a shot in the air when leaving the scene.
This incident remains under investigation with the North Charleston Police Department.
